More than 1500 people created a Guinness World Record by playing tabla together in ‘Taal Darbar’ of Gwalior.

Prominent officials like Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, Assembly Speaker Narendra Singh Tomar and Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia were present in this program.

To celebrate this achievement, December 25 will be celebrated as ‘Tabla Day’.


NLC donates Rs 4.30 crore to Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for flood relief in Tamil Nadu

NLC has contributed Rs 4.30 crore to the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s Public Relief Fund to assist flood affected people; This amount includes Rs 2.30 crore donated from one day’s salary of the employees.

The funds will assist citizens affected by Cyclone Michong and unprecedented heavy rains in southern districts like Tuticorin and Tirunelveli.



PM Modi to lead over the third National Conference of chief secretaries

The Prime Minister is scheduled to chair the third National Conference of Chief Secretaries on December 28 and 29, in which the emphasis will be on ‘Ease of Living’.

The objective of the conference is to discuss important areas like land, electricity, drinking water, health and school education.

Special sessions will be organized on cyber security, aspirational block and district programs and new age technologies.


$100 million project by Center and ADB to revive Tripura tourism

The central government and ADB secured a $100 million loan aimed at upgrading urban services and tourism in Tripura.

The project will strengthen urban water systems, upgrade roads with amenities for vulnerable populations and provide critical skills to local urban bodies.

High-profile sites like Chaturdash Temple, Kasba Kalibari and Neermahal Palace will be upgraded and a 10-year tourism plan will be implemented.


Foundation laid for capacity expansion at NEIAFMR

Sarbananda Sonowal and CM Pema Khandu laid the foundation for capacity development at North Eastern Institute of Ayurveda and Folk Medicine Research (NEIAFMR).

This includes an investment of Rs 53 crore to enhance research and development capacity in folk medicine and Ayurveda.

A new center focusing on the traditional Tibetan medical system, Sowa Rigpa, is planned to be set up in Arunachal.


RITES and NEEPCO partner to boost logistics infrastructure

RITES Limited has signed an agreement with NEEPCO to collaborate on consultancy services aimed at strengthening the logistics infrastructure at North East Hydropower Stations.

The Government of Arunachal Pradesh has awarded NEEPCO the work of five hydroelectric projects in the Siang Basin.

RITES will support NEEPCO as project management consultant for works related to rail infrastructure facilities.


BEL receives work order worth Rs 678 crore from Uttar Pradesh government

Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) got a contract worth Rs 678 crore from the Uttar Pradesh government for the UP Dial 112 project.

The project involves providing high-tech hardware, AI-based software and cyber security solutions across the state.

Additionally, BEL has received additional orders worth Rs 233 crore for communication units, thermal cameras and other spares and services.


Haryana adopts drone technology for land mapping

The Haryana government is using drones for various applications including land mapping, crime control and enhancing agriculture.

Drone Imaging and Information System of Haryana (DRIISHYA) leads these initiatives, exploring new areas of opportunity with drone technology.

DRIISHYA, in collaboration with DCP Traffic, Gurugram, is all set to launch drone-based land survey.

8th Indian Ocean Naval Symposium concludes in Bangkok

The 8th Indian Ocean Naval Symposium (IONS) Heads of Conference concluded in Bangkok, attended by senior representatives of 27 member or observer countries.

Thailand took over as IONS Chair and the work plan for the next two years was finalized.

India has designed the selected IONS flag and will co-chair the working groups on maritime security and HADR.


Uttar Pradesh to introduce green hydrogen policy

Yogi Adityanath reviewed the draft Green Hydrogen Policy aimed at supporting clean energy sources to combat global warming and climate change.

The program aims to promote companies operating in the green hydrogen industry by providing various incentives such as access to land, tax exemptions, and subsidies.

Before finalizing the policy, the CM directed officials to study the policies of other states.


Uttar Pradesh to achieve investment of over Rs 40 lakh crore in 2023

Uttar Pradesh attracted investment of over Rs 40 lakh crore in 2023, which is expected to generate employment for one crore youth.

Projects worth Rs 15 lakh crore are scheduled to start in 2024, including the development of Lalitpur Bulk Drug Park, Defense Corridor and Lucknow AI City.

Foreign investment includes Japan’s Fuji Silvertech which has agreed to set up a plant in Uttar Pradesh in 2023.


Yogesh Choudhary, Dipankar Make win in Shillong

Yogesh Chaudhary and Dipankar Make were declared women’s and men’s champions respectively at the Shillong Armfight-All India Championship 2023.

The championship was organized by the Meghalaya Arm Wrestling Association and the Bowers Association of Meghalaya, in which around 300 arm wrestlers from across the country participated.

The event featured five weight categories for both men and women.


CM Dhami launches development projects worth Rs 415 crore

During an event in New Tehri, CM Dhami inaugurated and launched 160 projects worth Rs 415 crore.

He visited exhibitions showcasing the products of women self-help groups and honored their extraordinary work in the district.

He stressed on creating a drug-free Uttarakhand by 2025 and appreciated the contribution of women in the development of the state.



Indian Navy commissions Stealth Guided Missile Destroyer “INS Imphal”

Imphal is the first warship to be named after a city in the North East, paying tribute to the sacrifices of Manipur in India’s freedom struggle.

INS Imphal is the 3rd of the four ‘Visakhapatnam’ class destroyers.

It has been indigenously designed by the Indian Navy’s Warship Design Bureau and constructed by Mazagon Dock Limited, Mumbai.
